Lynxmar C26
The Lynxmar C26 is completely tailored for year-round use. We have created the cabin boat we were looking for ourselves, but couldn’t find. A requirement list of over 250 functions, intensive design work and detailed hydrodynamic simulations have resulted in a boat with market-leading properties. Lynxmar Design Team and Stockholm Boats AB are responsible for design and concept. Oscar Södergren has optimized the hydrodynamics of the hull using CFD simulations.
The hull is soundproofed with different types of sound absorbers to minimize hull noise and resonance at higher speeds and bumpy seas. The hull is filled with floating elements in the form of cellular plastic for extra safety, this also gives a quieter ride. Producing a quiet boat with a cruising speed of around 30-33 knots has been central throughout the design phase. Spring-loaded seats, rough rubber non-slip mats, substantial grab bars and a large glass sunroof contribute to a substantial boat designed for professional use all year round. At the driver’s seat, great energy has been put into ergonomics and a market-leading driving environment.
Among the standard equipment are i.a. 16 inch plotter from Finnish Q Experience, light rig from Xvision, 4 kW heater and bow thruster and windlass from Sleipner. There is also a strong 125 mm load-bearing strip around the entire boat, which shows that this is a boat that can withstand most things. Lynxmar C26 is C-rated for 8 people. The biggest engine option is the Mercury V10 with 400 hp.
